• Engineering assessment and design of foundations (spudcans, skirted foundations and mudmats) for jack-up oilrigs, jack-up wind energy vessels, and offshore jacket and substation platforms.
• Jack-up leg penetration analysis using Geo’s in-house programs, Plaxis 2D and 3D, ABAQUS, ELFEN FE codes, etc.
• Interaction of the spudcans and skirted foundations with other seabed structures or seabed features like: Jacket piles, footprints, pipelines, quay walls and sloped seabed.
• Calculations for preload and storm loads (V-H) and (V-H-M), consolidation analysis, pseudo-dynamic calculations and other analyses for jack-up rig foundations.
• Design of gravel banks, gravel beds, gravel pads, excavated beds, and seabed perforation (Swiss cheesing) for safe installation and operation of different oil jack-up platforms and jack-up vessels (applicable to wind energy).
• Static and dynamic analyses of gravity based and skirted mudmat foundations for oil platforms, windmills and substations, using PLAXIS, ABAQUS and other programs.
• Pile driving analyses and pile bearing capacities applying GRWEAP-2010 and pile ultimate axial and lateral load capacities analyses applying DNV guidelines and APILE, LPILE2010 etc. for different offshore structures.
• Geotechnical interpretation of soil data from site surveys and geophysical investigations applicable to offshore projects, in correlation with geotechnical investigations, borehole / CPTs, and laboratory static and dynamic test results.
• Complete project management and offshore site supervision.
